God promises a new day for those who respond to God’s call.
Praise God for refreshing water and the nourishment of bread.
God establishes and commissions us, sending the Spirit into our hearts.
Praise God for cleansing and renewal as we receive the bread of life.
God equips us for a life of service among our sisters and brothers.
Praise God for meaningful work and for the strength to respond faithfully.
Amen. Amen.

*CHORUS: Thank You Lord
Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul; Thank you, Lord, for making me whole;
Thank You, Lord, for giving to me Thy great salvation so rich and free.

*UNISON PRAYER: Together, let us pray to the Lord...
God of Compassion and Surprises, raise our expectations so we will not miss the new things you have in store for us. Help us to see realities we have previously ignored and to hear truths we have never before discerned. Be gracious to us in this hour of worship and put your seal on us, that your glory may be revealed among us. Amen.

*HYMN: I’ll Fly Away (see insert)
Ushers will collect the written prayer cards.
STEWARDSHIP SCRIPTURE (read in unison): Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:13

CHORAL CALL TO PRAYER: #503 Let It Breathe on Me
PASTORAL PRAYER (After the pastor prays “Lord, in your mercy,” respond, “Hear our prayer.”)
LORD’S PRAYER: Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
You have formed us for yourself, that we might declare your praise.
May our faithful God, whose promises are fulfilled in Jesus Christ, be with you as you leave this place.

*HYMN: Love Lifted Me (see insert)
